Scope: ' HI 30.1-2021 is an example of a minimum requirement specification to aid purchasers in procurement of OH1 type pumps. This is new specification covers minimum requirements for OH1 type rotodynamic pumps (Horizontal – Overhung – Flexibly Coupled – Foot Mounted). It is set in a three-part format that states general, product and execution requirements. The format is in line with CSI standards so that specifying engineers can easily incorporate the requirements into their specifications.

is a revision of the 2016 edition of the standard. In this edition the
equations were updated accordingly, the graphs and illustrations in the
document were edited slightly (where needed for provide clarity/accuracy), and

ANSI/HI 9.1-9.5 Pumps General Guidelines

Scope: ' This
is a revision of the 2015 edition of the standard. The standard provides
the hierarchy of all pump types (Rotodynamic and Positive Displacement), and
provides materials of consecution, sound testing procedures and decontamination
of returned products requirements for these pump types. Technical,
general and editorial updates were made throughout the standard, and in the sound
testing section, images were updated for VS1-VS7 pumps and a new image was
provided for VS8 pumps to provide clarity on the testing procedure.

ANSI/HI 9.6.2 Rotodynamic Pumps for Assessment of Applied Nozzle Loads

Scope: ' In this revision, the committee developed new content on nozzle load evaluations including: mechanical pipe strain forces, hydraulic pressure reaction forces, thermal growth or contraction forces, pump casing stresses and deformation, relative movement between stationary and rotating components, shaft misalignment, hold down bolts, base plate stresses and deflection, and anchor-bolt stresses. In addition, normative content was added or updated to address material adjustment factors related to temperature.
