The Hydraulic Institute (HI), along with other industry organizations, will
sponsor the German Engineering Federation’s (VDMA) 3rd International
Rotating Equipment Conference for Pumps, Compressors, and Vacuum Technologies.
The conference will take place September 14-15, 2016 at the International
Congress Center at Düsseldorf, Germany. HI has also submitted to VDMA an
abstract for a technical paper entitled, “Pumping Systems
Optimization: Lowers Maintenance costs,
Improves Reliability, Increases Profitability and higher energy savings” to be presented
during next year’s event. The selection process is now underway.
HI Executive Director, Mike
Michaud explains, “Sponsoring VDMA’s
International Rotating Equipment Conference allows the Institute to support the
pump industry globally. It is important to show our commitment and this is a
great opportunity.”
The event, which launched in
1973, has grown to attract more than 850 participants. There are over 100
lectures and a technical exhibition with about 85 exhibitors. This event is the
leading congress of its kind worldwide.
